Founded in 1945 by Adolf Würth, the company began as a small wholesale screw business. Reinhold Würth joined in 1949 at the age of 14, undertaking a commercial apprenticeship. Following his father’s untimely passing in 1954, the 19-year-old Reinhold Würth took over the company, transforming it from a two-person operation into a global market leader in assembly and fastening materials.

2009: Würth Group celebrated Reinhold Würth’s 60th employment anniversary.
2010: Marked his 75th birthday and the 65th anniversary of the Würth company.
